The short version: Use Archway to find scholarships. Don’t misuse the platform. We provide AI-generated scholarship matches as a starting point for research — always verify opportunities directly with the awarding organization. Paid plans are subject to our refund policy below.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Archway Scholar (“Archway,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) at archwayscholar.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, free users, and paid subscribers.
2. Description of Service
Archway is an AI-powered scholarship matching platform. We use Claude AI to analyze student profiles and generate personalized scholarship match recommendations. Our service includes:
- AI-generated scholarship matches based on student profile information
- Application tracking and lifecycle management
- Scholarship research tools and resources
- Letter of recommendation facilitation (where available)
- Document review and essay feedback tools (paid tiers)
3. Important Disclaimer — AI-Generated Content
Scholarship matches are AI-generated and provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, Archway does not guarantee that any scholarship listed is currently active, that eligibility criteria are current, or that award amounts are accurate. Scholarship programs change frequently. You must independently verify all scholarship details directly with the awarding organization before investing time in an application.
Archway is a research and discovery tool, not a scholarship application service. We do not submit applications on your behalf, and we are not responsible for application outcomes.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Archway. Users under 18 should have parental or guardian consent. By using Archway, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate.
5. User Accounts and Purchases
Certain features require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. By making a purchase, you agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize us to charge your payment method via our payment processor, Stripe.
Season Pass: A one-time purchase valid for six (6) months from the date of activation. Access to unlimited scout runs and all included features during the active period.
Top-Up Packs: Additional scout run credits that never expire. Credits are tied to your account and are non-transferable.
Counselor Pro: A monthly recurring subscription. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
6. Refund Policy
We offer a 7-day refund on Season Pass purchases if you have not used more than 3 scout runs. Top-Up Packs are non-refundable once any credits have been used. Counselor Pro monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period but may be cancelled to prevent future charges.

7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Archway for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform in bulk
- Use automated tools to generate scout runs beyond normal personal use
- Submit false or misleading profile information to manipulate match results
- Share account credentials or resell access to the platform
- Use the platform to harass, harm, or discriminate against any individual or group
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.
8. Intellectual Property
The Archway name, logo, website design, and all original content are owned by Archway Scholar and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Student profile data you enter remains yours. You grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of generating scholarship matches. See our Privacy Policy for details.
9. Third-Party Services
Archway uses third-party services including Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI processing), Resend (email), and Cloudflare (hosting). Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
Scholarship links may direct you to third-party websites. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any external sites.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Archway is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scholarship information will be accurate or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Archway shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to missed scholarship deadlines, reliance on AI-generated match information, or any application outcomes.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Archway Scholar, its owner, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
12. Privacy
Your use of Archway is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers by email of material changes. Continued use of Archway after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Archway at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) shall survive.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Archway shall be resolved in the courts of Massachusetts.
